1. The role
Moderators are volunteers from the DataFirst community who help run the DataFirst Discord server. Being a moderator does not make you an employee, contractor, partner or agent of DataFirst, and you may not speak or make commitments on DataFirst's behalf.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, hold a Discord account in good standing and follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
3. Conduct
- Treat every member fairly, respectfully and consistently, and enforce the server rules as written.
- Never give personalized financial advice or trade signals, or present yourself as a licensed professional.
- Never promote other products, services, servers or referral links, or accept payment from members.
- Use moderation tools only for moderation, and never to settle personal disputes.
4. Confidentiality
Staff channels, unreleased features, early-access builds, member reports and any personal information you see while moderating are confidential. Do not share, screenshot or discuss them outside the moderator team.
5. Free access and points
While you are on the moderator team you receive free access to the DataFirst suite and may earn points for completed tasks. Point values, payout amounts and timing are set by the DataFirst team, may change at any time and are paid at DataFirst's discretion. Free access ends when your role ends.
6. Ending the role
You can step down at any time by telling the team. DataFirst may remove the moderator role at any time, for any reason, including inactivity or a breach of these terms.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated. Continuing to moderate after an update means you accept the new version.
